With one look you would not immediately be able to tell that you are looking at is a Sony Ericsson G900 and not a Sony Ericsson G700. Very similar in design and identical in size, it would take a closer inspection to appreciate what makes the Sony Ericsson G900 special.

It's was easy to find and sort tracks in the music library. The Sony Ericsson G900 is, of course, equipped with the Megabass equalizer preset so music lovers can enjoy their music to their heart’s content. There’s FM radio on this mobile phone too.

Also included in the Media Center is the phote gallery. You can use tags on each photo to make sorting and finding them easier. You can view them in slideshows. And you can even do it with background music depending on the mood you choose.

One thing that sets the Sony Ericsson G900 apart from its sibling model, Sony Ericsson G700, is the better 5 MP built-in camera with auto focus and LED flash. More features are packed in this model as well giving its users almost the same experience Cyber-shot users get from their cameras. There’s a digital stabilization feature in it. You can also shoot in panorama and multi-shot mode. It’s even possible to set white balance and picture size too. And with the Touch focus technology, you can focus on your main subject. Aside from photos, the Sony Ericsson G900 built-in camera can take video clips as well. While not really top-notch, its quality is also good enough for a mass consumer mobile phone.

For its price, the Sony Ericsson G900 could be the most powerful affordable mobile phone today. It’s certainly worth getting and most enjoyable to use.
