Are you on the lookout for cheap inkjet cartridges? Tired of replacing your printer cartridges? You are not alone! Yes. Many of us go for inkjet printers because it is cheaper than other types of printers. When we make our survey about the printers before we decide which type of printer to buy, we decide based on the cost factor. The mistake here is that we fail to take into consideration the maintenance and the running cost of the printer. Purchasing the printer is a one time investment, whereas replacing inkjet cartridges is a recurring life time expense. So the mistake lies in our choice of the printer. However, it is too late to complain. We need to look for other solutions on how we can handle the problem.
Inkjet cartridges are for sure expensive. To combat this price there are cheap inkjet cartridges available in the market. All of as spend a considerable amount of time looking for cheap inkjet cartridges. But even if we find cheap inkjet cartridges are they safe? Are they reliable or do they cause any problems? Can we go for refills? Does it affect the print quality and printer head? These are the questions that haunt us though we would love to get cheap cartridges for our inkjet printers.
Often cheap inkjet cartridges are cheap only in price and not in quality. Though you cannot get the output of the original ink cartridges, you cannot complain at the same time about the quality of the print. One obvious reason why we can expect reasonable quality is that cheap cartridges try to steal the market from the major players such as Canon, Epson, etc. The strategy they use to steal is to price their product very low when compared to the original cartridges. If they compromise too much on the quality then they will not be able to retain their customers. Even those customers who complain about the cost always look for good quality. They are aware that they cannot expect the same quality at a cheaper price but they expect a reasonable quality. Therefore, cheap cartridges can survive in the market only when they give the expected quality. If you compare the quality of printouts taken from the refills and the original cartridges you will not find any marked difference.
However, there are other problems that are associated with cheap inkjet cartridges. The number of pages your refill can print is much lesser than the number of pages that can be printed using the original cartridge. So when you compare the cost per page, you will interestingly notice that you save only small percentage.
Secondly, cheap inkjet cartridges tend to clog the nozzle which damages the printer head. This affects the quality of the print too. This happens especially when the printer is not used regularly. Even the original cartridges will have this problem when the printer is not used for a long time, but in case of cheap inkjet cartridges clogging is much faster.
So you need to decide based on the above factors whether you would be happy with the cheap inkjet cartridges depending on the nature of your usage.
