Recently a friend of mine moved from where he was living to go to another location. His decision was largely due to his employer moving locations. It is something to consider.

Also if you are planning a career change, you may want to buy a home, and move into an area that has those jobs in the career you want to be in.

* Crime
Crime is a big factor in your decision making. You want to make sure you live in a safe and peaceful area. This is a point to consider.

* Scenery
Tranquility and peace is hard to find in cities. Luckily there are many places that offer great scenery. Buying a home in one of these areas may even increase your life span.

* Leisure And Recreation
A point to consider is your leisure and recreation. Though many areas have access to a wide range of leisure and recreation activities, if this area is important to you, then you may want to move into an area that meets these needs.

* Traffic
Traffic is a big consideration when buying a home. If you have to travel a distance to work, then you may want to move more closer. Another option is to buy a home in an area that you can find a job in, which has less traffic.

* City Slicker Or Not?
Living in a city has its benefits, and it also has its negatives. You may like city life, and it maybe a big part of your decision. You may have had enough of the city and want to buy real estate in an area less busy than a city.
