HOW TO MEET GAY MEN, BISEXUAL MEN IN THE OPEN

This is absurd really, since there is no reason why anyone else apart from you must decide who you should choose as a sexual partner; and there is absolutely no reason why an individual must be discriminated against based on his sexual inclination.

This discrimination takes different forms in different communities, but more often than not gay men or bisexual men are at more of a disadvantage than women. This is especially so in the case of black gay men or Latino gay men. This could be because of the longstanding ‘macho’ or ‘alpha male’ image that has been associated with black men or Latino men and it makes people very uncomfortable when they observe behavior that they feel goes against these tags. It’s a classic case of people wanting to have their cake and eat it too. They want to give people tags and then they expect them to live up to these tags.

Thus, it often becomes impossible for gay or bisexual men to be vocal about their sex lives and preferences and enjoy themselves in the way they desire without inviting the wrath of society. This is grossly unfair, since sex fulfills the need for pleasure which no man should be denied and nor should his pursuit of pleasure be controlled or dictated. This is an individual’s choice, one that he is free to make without requiring consent or permission from anyone. However, society still considers gay men or bisexual men a threat to its structure. Therefore, if you’ve also been subjected to such restrictions, you will be glad to know that there are many places where you will be able to meet other men like you, whose desires and wants are similar to yours.

There are many events happening in hip party destinations like Miami, Florida that cater specifically to black gay men and Latino gay men, knowing that it’s hardest for men from these ethnicities to find acceptance. At such events you will meet like-minded individuals like yourself looking for the same things you are. Such events provide a medium through which you can legally, and in a non-compromised, friendly, relaxed environment develop relationships without any fear or doubt of being branded a ‘pervert’ and away from prying eyes of the ‘moral’ brigade.

The best way to take advantage of such events is to become a member of the event organizing group or club. Such events happen over weekends at resorts and thus act as ‘getaways’ for gay and bisexual men. Upon becoming a paid member, you get to enjoy a whole weekend surrounded by people like you and who you will like, participate in games and workshops, get VIP access to exclusive fashion shows, hang out at a bar and just relax, enjoy and indulge yourself.
