Dance To Lose Belly Fat

There are many exercises that people claim to be the best exercise to burn belly fat but which ones really are? I guess whatever works for the individual. Any type of exercise that requires some exertion will work.

One myth is doing crunches to lose belly fat. You can do hundreds of ab crunches and they will not be effective, until you have lost the belly fat. Then crunches will help to tone your belly and abdomen.

So what do I believe to be the best exercise to lose belly fat?
The best exercise to burn belly fat that is super-fun and comes naturally is dancing! Belly dancing is one great way to get rid of unwanted belly fat, but my favorite is Zumba . This is a form of Latin dancing. The music is great, the classes are fun and I get a great workout.

Initially when you are new, the steps look hard, but in reality they aren't. The best approach is to watch the people in the class that look like they have been attending the classes for a while and follow along. Before no time the routines come naturally. Don't worry if you get the steps wrong, no one really notices, most everyone is watching themselves in the mirror and smiling.

Being in great shape is not a prerequisite to get started. If you like dancing, it is easy to learn. The music is great, the classes are fun and you will get a great workout.

According to the official Zumba website,there are over 40,000 locations worldwide offering Zumba classes weekly. It is one of those exercises that has caught on and is continue to expand. The reason--it works.

If you attend two or three classes a week, you will in no time start to lose the belly fat. My fitness center offers six classes a week, so it is really easy to get in three sessions.

What is the best exercise to burn belly fat - why Zumba of course!

To find a class in your area, go to the Zumba.com website. You can also order the DVDs/videos if you want to get a jump start prior to attending a class. I highly recommend attending the classes if you can and using the videos for days when you can't get to a class. There is a lot to be said about the synergistic effect of a class.

My recommendation for the best exercise to lose belly fat - Zumba fitness hands down!
